Some further checking leads us to an actual source at
http://www.splashtop.com/open_source.php although I'd argue you did buy
the software (the QuickStart feature does make the laptop more
expensive), so neither 3.a nor 3.b are met (I read the entire manual no
mention of source or GPL anywhere in the Dutch version atleast).
