Dear Sir,

(Please forward this email to the legal or responsible departement)

I am using the wireless router LevelOne WBR3470 and I am very happy with it:

http://uk.level1.com/product_d.php?id=415

I have discovered that this router actually uses GPL software, and I
would like to receive a copy of the source code for this product.

For example, the firmwares published in [1] and [2] both run busybox
or iptables:

=================================================

zoobab at buzek /home/zoobab/WBR-3470B(1.35-RC24)_2007-06-03 [93]$
strings WBR-3470B-V1.35-RC24-180-40.D_sso_levelone.afw | grep busybox
l^busybox
Sbusybox2

zoobab at buzek /home/zoobab/WBR-3470B(1.35-RC24)_2007-06-03 [108]$
strings WBR-3470B-V1.35-RC24-180-40.D_sso_levelone.afw | grep ipta
iptable_filter.o
iptable_mangle.o
iptables

=================================================

I have noticed that you are providing the source code for other
LevelOne devices.

Best regards,

"In July 2005, after several failed attempts to legalise software
patents in Europe, the patent establishment changed its strategy.
Instead of explicitly seeking to sanction the patentability of
software, they are now seeking to create a central European patent
court, which would establish and enforce patentability rules in their
favor, without any possibility of correction by competing courts or
democratically elected legislators."
