Possible GPL violation in Avantis Content Cache servers

There's some good news on this issue with Avantis products. I've had a
positive response from the people at Avantis. I've documented everything
here:
http://tonywhitmore.co.uk/misc/avantis/correspondence.html
The summary is that they've made available a directory on their website
containing the source for the GPL binaries they used. They also confirm
in the Readme.txt that they use a supplied binary of SetACL and a
modified binary of GNU wget.
There are a few remaining questions:
* Do the wget sources provided produce, when compiled, a binary that is
the same as the binary shipped on the Avantis systems?
* There is still the obligation to distribute a copy of the GPL licence
with the Content Cache systems so that customers are aware of their
Freedoms. This is still unmet.
* What about the other software on the system - OpenSSL and Perl? There
are still potential licencing problems there.
* Should the GPL really be distributed in MS Word format?
Any advice on the above points gratefully received.
Tony
