Possible GPL violation in Avantis Content Cache servers

Just as an update on this:

I've had responses from Dave Turner at FSF and Helge Klein (author of
SetACL), both of whom are happy for me to make the first approach. I've
not, as yet, heard back from the OpenSSL people, although best address I
could find on their website was a generic enquiries one.
