One more point how someone might proof use of UPX. The compressed SFX header
contains some code which is executed when not running on Windows (standard
MZ header). In UPX this header is a binary file which is just added to the
file when compressing it. If this is the same it would be another indication
that they realy use the same code. I guess there also is a way to see, what
UPX/Netopsystems do to decompress the file when its executed. I am not so
deeply involved to UPX to do such comparisions, but they should proof
Netopsystems being guilty or not. I bet Markus Oberhumer will have a look at
this.
