While we appreciate your concern, we feel it is misplaced. We would like to direct your attention to the Splashtop documentation provided with every motherboard, which includes Third Party Software Credits (http://www.splashtop.com/credits/02.html). The credits contain a copy of the GPL along with links to the open source projects that Splashtop leverages. DeviceVM is happy to fulfill our obligations under the GPL as promised therein. We already offer our patches to the open source projects at http://www.splashtop.com/developer.php and are in the process of releasing full source online in one place. Thank you for your continued interest in the Splashtop products, Sergei Krupenin DeviceVM * Please note: my emails to the mailing list bounce, probably because I am a new member. So I am responding directly to people who have been involved in the thread. * On Tue, May 20, 2008 at 12:39 AM, Stan Cunningham <stan.cunningham at yahoo.com> wrote: > Hi, > > SplashTop is an extension of BIOS that runs on the Linux kernel and > has been distributed by ASUS on certain high-end motherboards and > laptops since > October, 2007.
