CT-PC89E / Chitech GPL Violation update: they're "in the middle"

I'd rather have the FSF assert what they will or will not do and how
they interpret their license on their software. In fact, I think the
only thing you can be sure of is that the vendor won't be shipping
Linux or free software on this product.

These threads have been painful to watch, not just because of the
vendor not knowing what their duties were under the license, but that
so few people on this list seem to know what free and open source
licenses require of vendors like Chitech.
