Hello,

I am wondering if this driver[1], provided by Mustek for their
ScanExpress A3 USB 1200 Pro flatbed scanner, is violating the license
terms of SANE. I've been trying to get this scanner working with the
help of sane-devel mailing list, and i asked a similar question. You
can see someone's response at [2].

The driver doesn't provide any source, and requires usage of Mustek's
own 'scanimage' binary along with their own sane library and mustek_usb2
library which have only been compiled for i386. Thus, the driver works,
but I am not able to use any other sane back-ends nor front-ends, since
they are not compatible with

Thanks
