It is pretty funny, isn't it?

However, I also wonder exactly what's so scary about including tools
like busybox and complying with GPL for them. AFAIK all a company has to
do is add a note to their documentation, and post unmodified busybox
source on their web site. Can't be more than an hour or two's work, even
including the lawyers.

Why is that such a terrifying concept for hardware manufacturers?
