Hi,

on the managementsystem (SMS) of the TP-IDS-solution is a command "showeula", which brings up
a BIG license-text and at the end the question for agreeing to this license. 

It also contains this part:(

10. Open Source Components. The Software may include certain open
source network intrusion detection signatures, utilities and other
software. Such open source software are free software that may be
distributed or modified under the terms of the relevant license, which
can be found at www.opensource.org or other URLs that we may provide
to you at your request. TippingPoint hereby disclaims all copyright
interest in such open source components. Any Software license fees
paid by you for the Software are for TippingPoint's proprietary
Software only, and not for any open source components of such
Software. Any license associated with an open source component applies
only to that open source component and not to TippingPoint's
proprietary software. At your written request up to three years after
TippingPoint's shipment of the Software to you, TippingPoint will
provide to you the source code for such open source components.

...is this a regular way not to point to the GPL? Because for me these ids-boxes run linux:)
