A year or so back(maybe more), a guy with nick inkling joined #linuxtv 
on freenode.
He had some changes to some kernel code to be applied. There was a huge 
verbal
fight with somebody else on the channel. Eventually, it so happened that 
he vanished
after that incident. The patches were discarded after that.
