Neither can I from either my ISP or through pair.com's SMTP server in
the USA.  I get a bounce with the bizarre message that
legal at lists.gpl-violations.org is an unknown recipient.  I end up
connecting to lists.gpl-violations.org's MX's port 25 and handing over
the email manually.

I have reported this but they couldn't see any problem at the
lists.gpl-violations.org end.  I think it's over zealous anti-spam
measures.  Whatever it is, it's a real PITA.  Who knows how many other
people it's affecting who give up?
