Slysoft Mencoder Violation

I didn't buy it, I used the trial version. But for the GPL that shouldn't
matter. Distributing trial versions with gpl violations is not allowed
either. I did see the 'changes.txt', but I don't think this kind if usage is
allowed. Or does anyone think this qualifies as 'mere aggregation'?
