Motorola gnu/linux phones

They have to make it possible to alter or add to the gplv3 software AND to
be able to run those modified versions, whether it's the kernel or not, that
kind of excludes them from restricting access to the hardware. They can't
use linux without a large cloud of other applications IE. coreutils, the
chances of coreutils becoming gplv3 are very high as is much of the other
required software.

They either allow full access or they use old versions of the software, is
that not how it is?
