no source code for GPL licensed plugin

While unfortunate, this is the problem with not including source code
into the basic download.  The homepage includes a sourceforge link to
the "cvs" but since it has not been updated in over a year the SF link
has gone "stale".

What attempts, short of anonymous comments on the page, has been done
to contact the author?  Sourceforge?
