ASUS Violation?

That's the one they say is the 1.9.6.9 code. It's a 140MB file, so it must be 
the entire tool chain.

They say, in a comment next to the download link for the above URL:

under the terms of the GNU General Public License. Please see 
The GNU General Public License for the exact terms and conditions 
of this license. We include a copy of the GPL with every CD shipped

But, that's not right.  There was no copy of the GPL on their CD.

rgrep says the string GPL occurs in:
Binary file AREADER/7.0/Data1.cab matches
Binary file Doc/A-500gPManuals.exe matches
Binary file Doc/A-WL500gP_router_quick.pdf matches
Binary file Doc/U-500gPManuals.exe matches
Binary file Doc/U-WL500gP_router_quick.pdf matches
Binary file Utility/data1.cab matches

But, it seems that actually opening those PDF's and searching for the string 
produces nothing.
