Asus complies with the GPL for the firmware for their routers. They
didn't wait till people complain to do it unlike some other companies.
When i bought a WL500gx router, i was surprised to find all the source
code on the included CD.
They even distrubute the source code on their web site:
http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?SLanguage=en-us&model=WL-500g%20Deluxe
Of course, if you search the gpl-violations mailing lists instead of
the Asus CD or website, ...
