I am extremely sorry to hear this. Unfortunately the product in question
is not available for purchase in Germany, therefore I cannot do a test
purchase and obtain first-hand proof of an actual GPL violation.
I would like to ask you to contact the FSF Italy about this matter.
Maybe they are interested in investigating that case, or write a
"friendly" letter to Telsey and/or Telecom Italia.
I'll also talk to my lawyer about what we can do in cases like this,
i.e. whether it would be possible to ask somebody in Italy to buy
the product, and forward the unopened package to me, accompanied by a
legal statement indicating that this person did not open the package,
or add/remove any of its contents.
Is the product sold separately/individually, or do you have to enter
a contract (like a DSL subscription) in order to get it bundled with
that?
