Greetings,
I have found that HP provides download of a bootable CD to upgrade HP
Proliant Servers BIOS and Firmware. The CD seems to contain isolinux,
gnome, and possibly other Free tools. Though the EULA does not mention the
GPL, nor source code availability.
Iso download URL :
http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/24777.html
EULA URL (linked from above URL) :
http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/eula/eula.html
When booting on the CD another License agreement is displayed, and must
be agreed. It does not mention the GPL either. That other License
agreement seems to be different from the online one ; however it does not
mention Linux, gnome, GPL neither source code availability.
To my understanding, this means HP is distributing Free Software by
violating the GPL license.
Please comment, bash, or approve me in Cc:, as I am not subscribed to this

PS : I have noticed this for this particular version of this particular HP
software upgrade kit. I have not looked at other similar products
available from HP not other vendors.
