Motorola: March 1 deadline for source code

The interesting thing is that they constantly send bits and pieces to
all kinds of people, but have failed to send it to me (as one of the
copyright holders who took [so far only out-of-court] legal action
against them).

I've been talking with David Turner from the FSF.  He has also inquired
the source code in late 2005 (!) and not yet received anything.

Sending the source code half a year after being requested is not
sufficient for GPL compliance.  It has to be offered from the beginning,
and the product has to be shipped with the full license text.

Also, their decision to stop sales of the A780 in Germany seems to
indicate that they have not managed to bring the product in GPL
compliance.  Why would they do so, if the product was now in compliance?
