Neoware thin clients in violation?

Neoware thin clients come in two types: either embedded Winders or
"NeoLinux."

I spent almost 6 months begging them for source code, to their thin
clients. Eventually they sent me the source for the kernel they use. 27k
worth.

I avoided mentioning the GPL, instead reminding them nicely that
"copyright law" required them to send me the source. 

Any suggestions?
