The latest GPL Sourcecode download for the Asus WL500W is broken
if you download the latest WL500W sourcecode from
ftp://dlsvr02.asus.com/pub/ASUS/wireless/WL-500W/GPL_WL500W_1976.zip
or any other of the mirrors you will find out that the tar.gz file which 
is included in this zip archive, is broken
