Minor violation in Samsung Digimax U-CA 5 camera

I bought the Samsung Digimax U-CA 5 camera. On the CD there is:

XviD/
XviD/SAMPLE.AVI
XviD/XviD-1.0.2-29082004.zip
XviD/XviD-1.0.2.exe
XviD/sample_play.exe

This is a Microsoft Windows binary for the xvid-codec. When you run the
file you get to an installer where you must accept the GPL.

However, there is no source and there is no written offer of getting the
source. So technically this is a violation, though it seems not to be
willfully - at it obviously could be solved by simply including the source
on the CD.

I called the Danish distributor (Westheimer A/S +45 4485 3400). He
promised to speak to Samsung.

I called the UK branch (Samsung Opto-Electronics +44 1932 455320). They
promised to call back.

I called US HQ (Samsung Opto-Electronics +1 201 902 0347).  They promised
to have the correct person get in touch with me.
