I have a Linksys WMA11B (Wireless Media Adaptor), website at:
http://www.linksys.com/products/product.asp?prid=554&scid=38
It runs Linux 2.4.17-rmk3-cot1 and busybox v0.60.2. However the source
isn't listed at:
http://www.linksys.com/support/gpl.asp
I've contacted Linksys by email and got no reply, so rang them today to
ask for the source. They said that it wasn't available at this time and
they had no idea when or if it would be available, but it would be at
least 4 months before it was.
I'm actually quite keen to get hold of the firmware so I can build an
IPv6 enabled version, but it seemed wrong to moan at the poor support
tech about copyright violations. I'm assuming there are known contacts
in Linksys that are aware of the GPL, given their already existing GPL
source download page. Can anyone give me some idea of who to contact to
ensure I do manage to get hold of the source at some point?
